Hina Afridi Talks About Her Decision to Skip Makeup

Hina Afridi is an emerging Pakistani model and television actress who is loved for her strong performances and charming screen presence. She has appeared in several popular dramas, including Pehli Si Mohabbat, Raaja Rani, Akhara, and Kacha Dhaaga.

These days, fans are especially appreciating her work in Ghulam Bashah Sundri and Mirza Ki Heer, where she is playing emotional and powerful roles.

Hina Afridi is also known for her simple and natural look. She often wears very little makeup on screen, as her naturally clear and glowing skin already stands out.

Recently, she appeared on Good Morning Pakistan while promoting her drama Mirza Ki Heer. During the show, she shared the reason why she prefers wearing little to no makeup, saying she feels more comfortable and confident in her natural look.

Talking about it, Hina Afridi shared, “My character Heer in Mirza Ki Heer uses only tint or mascara. I have tried using makeup on my skin, but there are some people who don’t look good with it — and I think I’m one of them. Also, my mother never allowed me to wear makeup while growing up.

I have used makeup for the camera, but it didn’t suit me. I usually just use tint, liner, and mascara. I don’t get facials often and I don’t even use concealer. Nowadays, heavy makeup is not really in trend — girls look better with a natural look. I personally love curling my eyelashes, which suits me, and I learned that from my brother Shoaib.”
