Junaid Safdar is all set to tie the knot again, and new details about his upcoming wedding have emerged. This time, he is set to marry Shanzay Asghar, the granddaughter of veteran politician Sheikh Rohail Asghar. Speaking to journalist Shazia Zeeshan, the bride’s grandfather shared insights and details about the wedding preparations, marking the union of two prominent political families.

His granddaughter, Shanzay Asghar, is close friends with Junaid Safdar’s younger sister, Mahnoor Safdar. It was through this friendship that the families met, liked each other, and eventually sent a marriage proposal, which was accepted.
The wedding festivities are scheduled from 16th to 18th January 2026. The mehndi will be held at the groom’s residence in Jati Umra, the barat will take place in Lake City, Lahore, and the walima will again be arranged at Jati Umra.
