Saba Hameed Breaks Silence on Ali Zafar & Meesha Shafi Case – Full Statement Revealed

Ali Zafar and Meesha Shafi are two prominent Pakistani singers who became embroiled in a major controversy in April 2018, when Meesha Shafi accused Ali Zafar of harassment. The allegations were strongly denied by Ali Zafar and his family, who claimed that the accusations were fabricated to defame him. Notably, Ali Zafar and Meesha Shafi had been close friends since their college days and were often seen together at social gatherings. They also collaborated on Ali Zafar’s song Chal Dil Mere. However, for the past eight years, both have been involved in ongoing legal battles following the harassment case, which is still under trial in court.

Recently, Saba Hameed, the mother of Meesha Shafi, has been attending court proceedings on her daughter’s behalf, as Meesha is currently residing in Canada.

Breaking her silence, Saba Hameed spoke to reporters outside the court. She said, “I cannot say much about the case at this point, as the decision will be announced soon. However, we have been fighting this for eight years, and we are not willing to accept defeat in this matter. Also, how can one engage in dialogue with someone who has no respect for women?”

Social media users are discussing the case under the comments section with many saying that Ali Zafar reportedly filed a defamation suit against Meesha Shafi which is being followed legally by her mother Saba Hameed. Read the comments here:
