Lazawal Ishq is Pakistan’s first dating reality show, streaming exclusively on the digital platform YouTube. The show has now been blocked in Pakistan, but international viewers can still watch Lazawal Ishq online. Hosted by Ayesha Omar, the series was filmed at a luxury villa in Turkey and features Pakistani male and female contestants exploring relationships on screen.

The show’s unique reality show format involves men and women living together in the same mansion, interacting to form romantic relationships, discussing their partners with other contestants, and taking part in fun and challenging activities. While this format has sparked severe public backlash in Pakistan, audiences remain curious and eager to watch Lazawal Ishq, making it one of the most talked-about Pakistani reality shows online.

Recently, Pakistani actress Memoona Quddus, who went viral for her casting couch statements, joined Lazawal Ishq and successfully found her partner on the show. Memoona impressed viewers with her bold and confident avatars, from her fashionable wardrobe to her candid and open conversations with her partner.

Social media users have once again called for a ban on Lazawal Ishq, criticizing the actors participating in a vulgar reality show that many believe is promoting obscenity.

One fan wrote, “This is not Lazawal Ishq, this is Lazawal Vulgarity, and it isn’t going to end anytime soon.” Another questioned, “Are they even Muslims? The sad part is the host’s name is Ayesha, and she is promoting this.” Other comments included, “What’s happening in Pakistan?” and “They are badly copying Indian cringe content.” Many asked, “Who watches such cringe reality shows?”
