Aag Lagay Basti Mein and Bullah are two major releases that hit cinemas during Eid ul-Fitr 2026. Pakistan’s cinema industry has faced challenges over the years, but the audience’s love for quality films remains strong. People still enjoy heading to theaters with family and friends, especially during festive occasions.

Eid ul-Fitr, in particular, is a time when communities come together and actively seek enjoyable recreational activities. This year’s Eid brought renewed excitement to cinemas, as audiences finally had big releases to look forward to, making it a promising moment for the revival of the film industry.

The festive weekend of Eid ul-Fitr has wrapped up, and the two major cinematic releases made a strong impact at the box office. Aag Lagay Basti Mein, an action-comedy, emerged as one of the biggest highlights, bringing together superstar Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan on the big screen. Another notable draw for audiences was the film debut of Tabish Hashmi.

The film performed exceptionally well, collecting an impressive 27.2 crores over the opening weekend. Out of this, 16.2 crores came from the domestic box office in Pakistan, while 11 crores were generated from international markets, reflecting its strong global appeal.

Bullah marked the much-anticipated return of Shaan Shahid to cinemas. The film, a high-octane action drama in Punjabi, generated significant excitement among audiences.

Despite being released on a limited number of screens, the movie successfully drew crowds to theaters and managed to achieve an impressive box office milestone, proving its strong appeal and the star power of its lead actor.

Bullah earned an impressive 10.75 crores over the opening weekend, a significant achievement for the film, especially considering its limited screen release. This strong performance also marks a successful and much-celebrated comeback for Shaan Shahid on the silver screen.
