Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), praised President Arif Alvi’s decision not to summon the National Assembly session, alleging that despite winning elections, PTI is being denied its rightful share of reserved seats. Speaking from Adiala jail, Imran criticized the alleged theft of the public’s mandate and accused opponents of previously opposing FATF legislation. Regarding an IMF letter, he clarified he dictated it due to being in jail and emphasized that political stability is crucial for economic stability. Imran claimed widespread election rigging, demanded the chief election commissioner’s resignation, and accused the caretaker government of working against PTI. He supported President Alvi’s rejection of the NA session, alleging PTI’s seats were not being allocated correctly. Imran stated PTI is uniting with other parties facing election fraud and vowed to protest against rigging nationwide.
