Shah recounted an incident where he, along with Saeed, visited a beautiful bungalow on Tariq Road to scout a location for a drama. The bungalow was owned by a stunning woman, who later became Humayun Saeed’s wife, Samina. At that time, Samina had a daughter from her first marriage, whom she introduced to Shah. The romance between Humayun and Samina blossomed on the set. With the support of his friends, Humayun Saeed married Samina and accepted her daughter, Sana, as his own. Contrary to popular belief, Humayun Saeed does not have any biological children.
